Cafe Du Nord tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a venue with a cool vibe and a bit of history? Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco is just that. This place has played a big role in bringing back the folk music scene and continues to host an eclectic mix of live acts from around the world. I mean, they’ve had everyone from local indie bands to big-name international artists. And get this, in 2016, they celebrated a whopping 100 years, throwing some pretty epic events to mark the milestone. The venue still has its vintage charm, with a cozy bar area that feels like stepping back in time. One of my favorite quirks? The adjacent stage viewing area. You can actually watch the performers warm up or get ready from a close-up spot, which is kinda rare for a venue like this. Plus, if you’re hungry or just wanna chill with a drink, the food and drink options are solid. It’s easy to get there too, hop on a bus from Civic Center heading towards the Mission District and hop off at 17th Street. Or if you’re coming from Dolores Park, just a short stroll down 19th Street and boom, you’re there. Whether you’re planning to see Nicole Atkins up close or grab a budget-friendly ticket for Slow Magic, Cafe Du Nord’s got a spot for everyone. It’s a lively, inclusive space where you’re almost guaranteed a good time, and sometimes you find yourself singing along to a band you just discovered. Honestly, it’s one of those places that makes you feel like you're part of something special, even if you’re just there for the night.
